Money

doesn't grow on trees

The best things in life may be free but it's impossible to do our work without financial support. We are very grateful to the following funders who have chosen to support our projects:
National Lottery Community Fund logo
The National Lottery Community Fund has awarded Growing Together Cornwall CIC three grants totalling £30K.
This funding has enabled us to create the inaugural St Agnes Sunflower Festival, now approaching its third year. Thousands of people have joined the fun, growing sunflowers and sharing their stories. We have even seen a similar project start up in nearby Newquay. Let's Get Growing, is an innovative project to encourage people new to gardening to grow their own food. In collaboration with media specialists C&T. Our latest lottery funded project is the first ever Cornwall Sunflower Festival - more news to come soon!
Magic Little Grants logo
Magic Little Grants has awarded Growing Together Cornwall CIC £500.
This funding allowed us to continue the St Agnes Sunflower Festival for a second year. We were able to buy seeds, other materials and equipment so that we could distribute sunflower kits to hundreds more households. Last year, with COVID restrictions eased, we were able to hire a venue in the centre of the village and run a face-to-face sunflower planting day. It was wonderful to see the joy and excitement that planting a simple seed can bring.
COOP logo
Co-Op Local Community Fund has chosen Growing Together Cornwall CIC as one of its local good causes for 2022/23.
