This is my view right now. The hall of St. Agnes Methodist Chapel is ablaze with colour and filled with the beautiful scent of freesias and other blooms. It's the annual St. Agnes Gardening Club Spring Flower Show and the entries are stunning! We are here to tell everyone about our latest project, The St. Agnes Sunflower Festival. Growing Together Cornwall has teamed up with the RHS, St. Agnes Gardening Club and Duchy College Rosewarne to bring people together to fill St. Agnes and surrounding villages with sunflowers. As part of the the RHS 'Grow Social" campaign we will be at St. Agnes Church Hall on Sunday 19th April for s social sunflower seed sow! We'll provide pots, compost and seeds. All you need to do is come along and sign up. We'll help you sow your seeds which you can take home and nurture. When they are bog enough we want you to plant your sunflowers somewhere prominent for all the world to see. By August we want St. Agnes to be full of beautiful sunflowers (and hopefully lots of sunshine as well!) We'd love to tell you more in person so why not come along to the show this afternoon? Doors open at 1:30pm. See you there!
