Never Stop Growing

Scientists used to think that our brains were fully developed and basically stopped developing once we became adults. We now know that the human brain is capable of enormous 'plasticity'. In other words, no matter what stage of life we are in, we can still learn and develop. A healthy mind is an active mind.

With loneliness at almost epidemic levels, it has never been more important to bring people together and we believe that gardening is a great way to do just that. No matter what a person's physical strength, there is always some activity that can stimulate the mind and gently exercise the body. What can be more uplifting than planting a seed and watching it grow?

At Growing Together Cornwall we create bespoke projects for groups in a variety of settings. From gardening clubs to residential care homes and schools, we can bring people together to grow!
